Brewers’ Devin Williams out 3 months

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher and closer Devil Williams is expected to miss about 3 months from stress fractures in his back. Williams' back issues started back in September but he was able to play through it, even as they started to worsen coming into spring training. Williams took some brief time away to see a doctor, where it was diagnosed to be more serious. It’s not clear who will take the 2 time all-star’s spot or how the team will adapt.

Gerrit Cole out 4-6 weeks

New York Yankee pitcher and Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole is expected to miss 4-6 weeks as he recovers from injury. General Manager Aaron Boone had reported that Cole was having trouble recovering between games, raising concern and testing. Cole underwent MRIs, X-Rays, and a series of other tests, before it was announced he will be heading to world renowned surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache in the coming days for an in-person appointment. While losing Cole for any amount of time, it seems to not be as serious as it could be with no major damage reported. It is unclear how they will adapt their roster and if they will need to make any trades to right the ship.

Astros still dealing with jersey issues

The Huston Astros are still making changes and dealing with issues related to the new Fanatics/Nike uniforms. There may be some changes for fit and design tweaks, but the base jersey is unlikely to see any major changes.

PNC Park ranked best stadium

USA Today ranked PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates, the best of the 30 MLB ballparks. Eight reporters from USA today ranked and compiled their scores to get the winners.

"Even without changing a thing, this is a ballpark that seems to become more beautiful as time goes by, with its intimate architecture and breathtaking view. Please, Pirates, don’t make any changes!”
